Loeries Africa Middle East 2024

We had the honour of creating the full motion graphics package, including an epic show opener, for Loeries Africa Middle East 2024. The theme, 'This is tough, so are you,' perfectly captured the rollercoaster of the creative process—from receiving the brief and that inevitable rush of panic, to a mix of good ideas, questionable ideas, and those frantic, last-minute treatments. Our visual treatment was a dynamic blend of photography, illustration, and tactile paper layers that were scrunched, folded, torn, and ripped—each layer revealing the next stage of the journey. Just like any project, it all leads up to the Loeries Awards night, where creatives cross their fingers and hope their blood, sweat, and tears have earned them that coveted shiny little bird statue.
