In modern times, we are so afraid to offend, often at the cost of comedy, that we forget the original context of our celebrations. To counter this, Comedy Central set out to bring back the dreaded C-word (Christmas!) We dared to challenge the mainstream promo rules and set out to normalize the use of the C-Word once again. What are these holiday celebrations anyway without the cliché Christmas elements of stockings, mince pies, carol singers and Christmas trees? How dare we leave Santa of the festive equation? Unfortunately, this attempt was still smacked with a censorship disclaimer (as a joke of course) but it none the less made for a humorous Holiday Seasonal promo.
